Result 24 Steps to Scar Filling
The trio of combined technologies

Subcision —
breaking the scar base
Subcision technique uses a specialist needle inserted under the skin to sever the fibrous bands pulling the scar surface down. Once the fibrous bands are broken, the scar lifts immediately and the resulting space provides a scaffold for autologous collagen to fill over time.
Matrix application —
regenerating from within
Bio-Matrix is a specialised biological active injected precisely into the scar depression following Subcision. It stimulates fibroblast cells to produce collagen and elastin, gradually filling the scar from the deepest layer. Results accumulate with each session — the scar progressively shallows and the skin surface becomes flatter and more even.

Common questions about Fillup Scar at Tú An Clinic.
Topical anaesthetic cream is applied 30–45 minutes beforehand, making the procedure almost entirely painless. Mild soreness may be felt for 1–2 days after the anaesthetic wears off — this is normal and mild pain relief can be taken if needed.
Scars visibly lift immediately after the first session due to Subcision. Filling results accumulate over 3–6 sessions (every 4–6 weeks). Severe scarring may require 8–10 sessions for optimal results.
The treated area may be bruised and mildly swollen for 3–5 days. Most clients return to normal activities within 1–2 days. Avoid sun exposure and strenuous exercise for the first 48 hours.
Most effective for atrophic scars (boxcar, round base, rolling). Ice pick scars (deep narrow scars) require an additional punch excision technique. The doctor will assess the scar type and recommend the most appropriate protocol.
The regenerated collagen is autologous tissue — results are durable. However, natural ageing over time may cause some shallow regression. 1–2 maintenance sessions per year help sustain results.
